Need Some Ideas?
Stuck on how to fundraise? Let’s decide together. Our supporters have conquered mountains, run marathons, shaved their heads, held bake sales and sponsored silences. Here are some ideas of what you could do to help make a difference.
Coffee mornings are a great way to raise some money for a good cause and get your community involved. Especially during a global pandemic, when many are in lockdown, simply seeing a friendly face over Zoom can make someone’s entire day.
Quit for them
The first step to quality healthcare is quality health. Show your support by giving up smoking, sugary drinks, fast food or alcohol – and doing it for a good cause!
Do you have a goal that you’ve been putting off or perhaps need one more incentive to get it going? Have you been meaning to work out consistently since the beginning of the pandemic but never got around to it? Why not set a target and get your friends and families to sponsor you to meet it!
Bingo nights, quizzes, online chess matches… there are numerous ways you could organise a night where your supporters could have fun and donate towards a good cause (all virtually, to make sure you’re staying safe of course!).
Why not encourage your friends and family to donate to a good cause for your birthday? Celebrate your life by giving back to those who need your support.
MasterChef in Lockdown
Encourage some healthy competition with your friends and participate in a sponsored best meal challenge. You could even film the process, take photos of your creations and share them on social media for others to judge!
Time to put your idea to work! You’ll need to plan what you are doing, where it will be held and on what day. Reach out to your friends and family, ask them if they’ll help you with things like transport, food and spreading the word for your fundraiser. Do you need banners, posters, charity buckets and balloons? Get in touch with our team and let us know what you need. We’re always on hand to help in any way we can.
Collecting Your Funds
There are numerous ways you can raise funds online or at your workplace, school or among family and friends. Here are some examples!
Setting up a JustGiving page is easy. All you need to do is register/sign in and follow the instructions. Remember, don’t worry about having to deal with the money at the end, JustGiving donates it to us automatically for you!
