Pre-deployment Training with DWW Volunteer Medics

On the 30th June 2018, Doctors Worldwide carried out its pre-deployment training for the 11 medical volunteers who will be going out to Bangladesh over the next 12 weeks. The medics will be teaching the Doctors Worldwide Postgraduate Fellowship on Refugee & Migrant Health to over 65 Bangladeshi doctors that work in the Rohingya camps and representing 25+ organisations and NGOs. The PGF resource and training is a collaboration of over 30 NHS doctors from the UK and overseas who are giving their time voluntarily to develop the materials for the PGF. Thank you to our partners IOM – UN Migration for supporting us and helping us to strengthen the local response to the #Rohingya crisis.

Doctors Worldwide is looking forward to rolling out the training in other countries around the world in the coming future. To find out more or to get involved, contact us at Doctors Worldwide.
