Content Development Day

Doctors Worldwide UK hosted its first Content Development Day (CDD) at the Royal Society of Medicine, London UK on April 28, 2018. The purpose of this session was to bring together volunteer module developers and field instructors who travelled to Bangladesh for our pilot project. In total we had 20 participants attend in person and via webinar from Bangladesh and various areas in the UK. Highlights of this session included: – overview of project and skyping in our field team – outline of content structure and areas of need – allocation of existing and new volunteers to complete units within each module. Doctors Worldwide UK is confident in our team to continue the development of strong modules focusing on improving medical care in migrant and refugee settings to local post-graduate healthcare workers.

If you have experience in developing medical education and/or refugee and migrant health, and you are interested to volunteer with this initiative please contact our project co-ordinator Georgia Venner on info@doctorsworldwide.org
