Doctors Worldwide started it’s HIV Prevention programme in Kenya in Nov 2011.

Circumcision is a technique recommended by the World Health Organisation, that has proven to help reduce HIV transmission. Using disposable clamp technology, circumcisions can be done quickly, safely and cost effectively.

Although our program includes adult males, our main focus is infant male circumcision and is a free service. In Kenya, circumcision is also important for religious reasons and many are too poor to afford such operations and lack access to safe and clean facilities and trained staff.

The opportunity to interact with mother and child enables to us to provide additional services such as medical screening and other health advice.
